| Active Life Wellness Center was designed by a physical therapist to provide a comfortable atmosphere for people to exercise. Our goal is to promote exercise and a healthy active lifestyle. There is no body building and no heavy weights that attract muscle heads or Barbie dolls. It’s a place for you to get active, lose weight, improve health, and feel comfortable doing it. We will teach you how to improve your body, health, diet, and quality of life. We want to provide something a little different for people who don’t like “gyms”. If you have an injury or impairment and are concerned about exercising, this is a great place to get advice. Also, we will teach you proper techniques so you can stay active even with impairment. We also help people with medical conditions establish a safe exercise routine. Exercise does not have to be something you dread doing everyday. To help, we have fun activities such as the popular Wii Fit and arcade style basketball. In conjunction with Palm Coast Physical Therapy Center, we have developed our "PaTh to Wellness" program which offers FREE classes and group activities to help make us a healthier community. |

PERSONAL TRAINING
Let us help you reach your fitness goals thru personalized fitness training. All of our members have access to free personal training with their membership. We will design a personalized program that will guide you to reach your goals.
We will educate you to avoid common workout mistakes that often lead to injuries. You will also learn what exercises good for you to do.
And of course, we offer a professional atmosphere where individuals of any fitness level can feel comfortable.
DIETING
We do not believe in any specific diet. We want to educate people about what they are eating, how to make better choices and subtle changes to their lifestyle. Dieting is not something that is a quick fix; you have to make a lifestyle change if you want lasting results. We educate people on how to make better food choices, how much to eat and when to eat it. Setting realistic attainable goals is very important to weight loss and preventing discouragement. We offer a weight loss class on Monday evenings at 6:00 pm called “Transitions Lifestyle”. Basically a educational support group based on the glycemic index. The glycemic index ranks carbohydrates based on their effects on your blood glucose levels. Not all carbohydrates are the same and affect your body differently.
